Project: Halloween Page Markers

Peek-a-boo Page Markers

It’s the season for everything spooky. It’s also the season I’m using for inspiration for all things bullet journal related. I have joined a number of groups on Facebook and the inspiration and creativity is through the roof. So much so that I don’t have enough bookmarks to keep track of important pages. With the release of Lettering Delights “So Franken Cute” collection, it was a no brainer: Halloween page markers!

Lettering Delights is a website that caters to every paper and graphic crafting need. After purchasing the cut it files (svg files), I then cut them on my Silhouette America Cameo 3. I have no affiliation with either of these companies. I am just a loyal and repeat customer having used both the website and my Cameo (recently upgraded from the first Cameo to the Cameo 3) for the last 10 years.

So with my husband away and my son fast asleep, it was time to spend some time paper crafting again.

I decided on 3 designs for Halloween: Frankenstein, a spider, and a pumpkin. I made 2 sets with paper clips (one for me and one as a gift for my sister), and then a set with no paper clips since my son LOVES all things spooky and this will hopefully deter him from taking my page markers.

They turned out really well! I just used plain Recollections cardstock and set up my cut files in the Silhouette Design Studio software. Grabbed some glue and some dollar store mounting squares (cut to size), and boom, I was done.

I definitely recommend checking out “Under the Cherry Tree” blog site. She makes wonderful projects using the Lettering Delights products. (Again, no affiliation, just a huge fan.)

Let me know what you think and if you have any ideas for November. I’m thinking a roast turkey and a knife and fork would be fun!
