Today I’m sharing a flip-through of my Halloween-themed Travelers Notebook. I love my lilac-coloured notebook from Mystics Little Gifts so I wasn’t quite ready to pack her up for the winter. Luckily, I came across the Recollections Moonlit Manor Paper Stack from Michael’s. I grabbed some Tim Holtz dies and ephemera and started putting some dashboards together. I have the flip-through posted here where I also provide some background as to how I created some of the elements. In the mean time, here are some of the supplies I used.
Many of the dashboards were made using the supplies I purchased. There are a few exceptions where I photocopied some of the elements onto vellum to get a different effect and visual element.
The dashboard I’m the most proud of was created by me. I wanted to make it available for download for you to use. Please note that this is for personal use only and not to be re-purposed for commercial use or sold.
My list of supplies include:
- Recollections Moonlit Manor Paper Pad
- Recollections Halloween Book Pages
- Tim Holtz / Idea-ology Products:
- Ancestors Paper Dolls
- Halloween Ephemera Pack
- Halloween Clippings Stickers
- Double sided tape
- Foam tape squares
As mentioned above, there are a few extra supplies I used; namely, my dashboard for the front pocket. I also sewed some of the paper pieces together for more texture. There are also paper parts that have been stapled, again for more texture.
I have added a couple of planner charms: one I created used beads and re-purposed earrings from Michael’s. I clipped this to the spine of my notebook. But, arguably the trigger for this, is my planner bookmark charm from Reaping Willow. I didn’t think I was a charm person but this really inspired me. I’ve managed to create some of my own (which I’ll be sharing during my next flip-through), and I’m addicted!
More to Come
I love Halloween and this year, for some reason, I’m more excited for it than ever. So much so that I have put together 2 more Traveler’s Notebooks to share. Once they are done, I’ll share the flip-through as well as some dashboard tutorials for you to follow along.
If you would like any additional information on any of the dashboard layouts I created, please let me know in the comments below. I would love to help any way I can!
Thank you for following along today!
