    The Sassy Club Notebook Review

    May 13, 2022 /

Today, we are doing The Sassy Club Notebook review. Other than my mega review post, majority of my notebook reviews have been on YouTube. This notebook, however, is getting its own post and for good reason! I have posted a YouTube video as well, that you can check out here. The Sassy Club Notebook Review Background Quick disclaimer, Sandra over at The Sassy Club, sent me this notebook to try out. I had, however, already purchased one in each colour for myself. I was really eager to test this notebook and see for myself how it holds up. For those of you that don’t know, The Sassy Club is an…

    April 22, 2022 /

While we dream of spring days ahead (shovelling a foot or so of snow), I’m excited to share my May Bullet Journal Setup 2022. I am a Fall/Winter person so the fact that I am dreaming of warmer days tells you how long this winter has been. But enough whinging! This is about my May Bullet Journal Setup and the camera theme I have chosen. As aways, I have stickers based on this theme available for free download to email subscribers in the From Blank to Brilliant Library so check those out. If you would like to watch my video setup, you can click to Youtube. Otherwise, below I am…

    April 2022 Bullet Journal Setup

    March 25, 2022 /

We are back with an April 2022 bullet journal setup! I feel the need to insert a road so far segue here but I could also just insert a dumpster fire gif and it would be 100% fitting and appropriate. March hasn’t been particularly bad, just very busy and, well, struggling with staying motivated. With that said, I have managed to get my bullet journal set up for April done. I am super excited with some new layouts I have included and can’t wait to share with you. You can check out the setup video here, and down below, I’ll share my layouts and the reason behind why I’ve chosen them. …

    Finding Time to Bullet Journal

    February 25, 2022 /

Today we are talking about finding time to bullet journal. I find a lot of complaints and/or roadblocks to bullet journaling, and specifically, creative bullet journaling, has to do with time. A lot of people say they don’t have time to do it. While I, unfortunately, do not have a magic wand to create more time (if you do, please reach out ASAP), I do have some ideas for how you can start to find the time to bullet journal. I have shared a video over on YouTube as well that you can check out, where I do flip throughs of all my journals through the years. But otherwise, let’s…

    March Bullet Journal Setup 2022

    February 20, 2022 /

Here we go: March Bullet Journal Setup 2022! Two things come to mind when I think about March 2022: 1. How has it been 2 years of living like this? and 2. How is it March already?! I always like to take the time to look back at previous setups and layouts and see how far I have come. This is possibly my most favourite theme to date, even though I fubbed up the cover page 🙈😆. So as always, I share my YouTube video setup up here, and below I am talking more about my supplies and my thinking behind why I have chosen these layouts. March Bullet Journal…

    February 2022 Bullet Journal Setup

    January 23, 2022 /

Finally sharing my February 2022 Bullet Journal Setup! I feel like I blinked and January was almost over and I had squat planned for my setup! Thankfully, I have some designs floating around out there, so I repurposed one of my newer, favourite designs for my February setup. This was more challenging than I anticipated since I decided to go with gouache paint and I didn’t have the colours I needed to match my theme. Essentially, the most challenging part of this month’s setup was mixing my paints to match the colour palette. Normally, I choose my colour palette and supplies, but definitely opposite month this time around. I am…

Productivity in a Creative Bullet Journal

    January 7, 2022 /

Today, I am looking at productivity in a creative bullet journal. I love being creative in my bullet journal and it is one of the purposes of journaling for me. But, just because something looks pretty, doesn’t mean it can’t be productive. Sure, you could argue that creative journaling itself isn’t productive. BUT, if that’s how you (like me), use your journal for an outlet, it doesn’t mean it can’t change and evolve as you need it. The busier I get, and as I try to manage multiple revenue streams, it’s so important for me to keep track of schedules and deadlines. As a result, I incorporated the productivity methods…

    January Bullet Journal Setup 2022

    December 29, 2021 /

And here it is: my January Bullet Journal Setup 2022! As I type this, I see a sitcom cut scene with a voiceover announcing, “You’re probably wondering how we got here”. But! Here we are! I am sharing my January setup and I chose a cupcake theme. January is my birth month, as well as the birth month for a ton of people I love, like, and respect! So this theme is to honour them as well. As always, these are available for free download in the From Blank to Brilliant Library. If you would like to purchase these stickers, you can head on over to my Shop to grab…

    Archer and Olive Acrylograph Review

    December 17, 2021 /

I feel like I have been promising this review for well over a year now but here is my Archer and Olive Acrylograph Review. Normally I save this for the supply list but I want to be very clear from the start. I am an Affiliate for Archer and Olive but, if you knew me and have been following me for a while, that speaks to how much I love the products and the company. But moving on to the Acrylographs. I have spent quite a while using these pens, and working with these pens, that I feel like I can give a fair review. You can catch the video…

    2022 Bullet Journal Setup

    December 12, 2021 /

Cue the shock and disbelief, but it’s time for a 2022 Bullet Journal Setup post! I saw a “funny” meme reminding me that 2019 was almost 3 years ago and I had lots of feelings about it – some was laughter, most was not, lol! But here we are. I ended up using many layouts from 2021, and then adapting others to my new situations. As always, you can find the setup video here. Below, I share my supplies, and thoughts behind the layouts I chose. To check my previous setups, you can see them here: 2021 New Bullet Journal Setup Bullet Journal Migration 2021 Bullet Journal Setup 2022 Bullet…
